Advertising
Cadbury advertises through many forms of media including TV, Youtube, Social Media, Sponsering (BottomLeft) and many more. It has targeted kids (BottomMiddle), It is all over our streets (BottomRight) and it has taken over our Tv's. They have introduced fundraising and now have one of the biggest product ranges in the chocolate industry.
Ethical Issues
Cadbury has used many forms of advertising all over the world. But the biggest and longest advertising reign has been over children. Cadbury's main advertisements are aimed at children of all ages and this has had a big impact on our generation in terms on obesity, lack of concentration and addiction. But there is a long way to go. An authoritative global study reported that there were higher levels of obese and overweight people in the UK than anywhere else in western Europe, except for Iceland and Malta. Considering that Cadbury reigns over 45% of the global chocolate market in Europe, it is no surprise of the problems that our generation faces.
